David Kent is a multidisciplinary and multi-modal artist, curator, and producer whose career spans theatre, visual arts, and education. As the Producing Artistic Director of Merrimack Repertory Theatre, founder of Kent Gallery in Key West and Miami, and CEO of Artist in the Room Consultants, he has created and curated over 350 shows, exhibitions, and performances. His work explores the connection between creativity, art, place, and memory. He holds degrees from Bowdoin College, Brandeis University, and the University of Rhode Island, and currently serves as Executive Director of the Arts Center in Orange, Virginia.
