Board Members
The Arts Center In Orange Board of Directors is currently in search of 6 new members who have a passion for art and community, and wish to help us continue to serve our mission! The Mission of The Arts Center in Orange is to increase the quality of life in our community by promoting an appreciation for fine contemporary arts in diverse styles and ideologies.
THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING:
● A forum to promote artistic excellence; scholarship and education.
● A venue for artists and artisans to work, teach, exhibit and sell work.
● A place for the community to learn skills, and to participate in, as well as enjoy the arts
PLEASE FIND INFORMATION ABOUT OUR BOARD AND REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERS BELOW:
● The Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5PM in person and virtually.
● In addition to monthly board meetings and committee meetings, members should make an effort to attend Gallery Openings and other special events.
● Board members are expected to serve on at least one committee, currently the options are: Fundraising, Facilities, and Finance.
● Each member should expect to commit 3-5 hours each month between meetings, events, and volunteering.
● Each member is expected to serve a term of 3 years, no member can serve for more than three consecutive terms.
● Board members are not required to make a financial contribution to the organization, it is however encouraged, if a member is able.
● The Board is insured.
